3rd Grade Math Units
In third grade, students learn a wide variety of mathematical topics. The following are the units that students will be focusing on this year:
- Place Value
- Addition
- Subtraction
- Time and Money
- Multiplication
- Division
- Fractions
- Geometry
- Measurement
Graph of the Week
Each week, students will answer a question that relates to their own life. They will graph their answer on the Graph of the Week bulletin board, and then each day for the rest of the week, they will answer a question based on the class graph. Students will record their answers on their Graph of the Week recording sheet. Students will turn in their recording sheet on Friday, and it will be graded weekly.
